Who are we?
We are a growing collective of Gurgaon individuals who have joined hands to make a difference at scale. Coming together with a wide variety of backgrounds and experience, we are committed to bring about scalable change.
Our Dream
We want to see residents in Indian cities have a higher quality of life – starting with Gurgaon as a pilot. Then we take it to fast growing Tier 2 cities across India.
Making Gurgaon a World Class City
Creating A Citizens’ Movement – harnessing the collective experience/knowledge of influential residents with a wide variety of backgrounds. We cannot let Gurgaon go the way of Bangalore. “The time for the “Haves“ to live in their bubbles by having seceded from using public services has come to an end” – Rohini Nilekani
Pollution; Dengue; Covid; Floods; etc etc.. – affects the “Haves” and the “Have Nots” EQUALLY. Thus, our mission is to help Indian cities be in the Top 50 cities list globally, as per the Global Liveability Index within this decade, by Jan 26, 2030.
Top Issues On The Minds Of 'The Haves' In Gurgaon?
Extensive research has highlighted the following issues:
#1 Garbage – Filth – Pollution cycle The broken waste management system of Gurgaon is causing pollution and floods (blocked drains), leading to diseases: Respiratory, Cancer, Vector borne
#2 Water management – Depletion & Surplus
Excessive water exploitation has led to catastrophic, rapid depletion of the water table (Approx. 2m per year).
Mismanagement of water bodies (silting, eutrophication, sewage dumping) has compromised water capturing capacity…leading to flooding.

COG@S is committed to working on better air quality for India’s cities, through
increasing Green Cover (Afforestation).
This will be achieved as depicted alongside.
Once successfully demonstrated in Gurgaon, this model can be adapted across all fast growing Tier 2 cities. 40 Changemakers like you, have joined the collective here at COG@S, Sign up to join COG@S and support, help these dreams become reality!
